…I went out around the city in search of a different storage solution for my Lush stuff. My boyfriend was the one who spotted this three tier cupcake stand, and for only $20, I couldn’t not snatch it up!

My Lush stash is so small right now, but come next pay check, I’ll have the extra money to replenish it a bit :) I also bought a shower tension caddy for storing my body washes, soaps, and shampoos.

Today, Lush NA launched it’s new campaign that highlights all of the lovely products with rose as a main ingredient! I’m personally thrilled — rose is my #1 favorite ingredient in Lush products!!

The main focus is Ro’s Argan body conditioner, which for a limited time will be available in smaller 1.5 oz pots for $5.95! It’s a great way to try the delicious in-shower body moisturizer/softener if you haven’t already!

Other campaign features include: Turkish delight shower smoothie, Rose Queen bath bomb, Rose Jam bubbleroon, Tisty Tosty bath bomb, Chou Chou… I Love You toothy tabs, Imogen Rose perfume, and A Million Kisses lip tint.

Check out these BEAUTIFUL LUSH-inspired birthday cupcakes! They were brought in to a private party at the Lush Woodgrove Mall store. Dying to try and make these! Trying to figure out if they’re chocolate, icing, or marzipan.

What to do with those little yellow bags from LUSH? Turn them in to plant starter pots! Note: I don’t recommend using bags that have a lot of residue in them. I used bags that held soap bars, shampoo bars, massage bars, etc. Bubbleroons and bath melts seem to leave too much soap behind.

Instructions

1. Save up Lush bags, or any papers that use safe dyes (most ads do NOT use safe dye)
2. Cut up paper into strips or chunks. This goes faster if you have a paper shredder.
3. Toss papers into a blender, turn on and add water as needed to blend. DO NOT add too much water; less is better.
4. Squeeze out extra water from paper pulp goop.
5. Press pulp into muffin tin, going up around the sides; I used silicone since it allows things to spring free better, but any kind of tin will do.
6. Allow to dry overnight (you can also “bake” on a low setting like 250 for an hour or so and then let dry overnight).
7. Pop your seed sprouter cups free from mold, add dirt, and plant some seeds!
